Which supplements work to burn fat and lose weight?

Pre and Post Workout Shakes:

  1. Protein Shake – Protein is essential to muscle growth and fat burn. The more muscle you build the more fat you burn. A blend of proteins is the best way to consume proteins even though Whey Protein would be my ultimate recommendation post workout. Whey protein is fast digesting which is why it’s critical pre and post workout. Medium digesting proteins and slow digesting proteins are also important to keep your body consuming proteins throughout the day.   2. Preworkout – A good preworkout gives you energy without the jittery feelings. A great pre-workout should come with essential ingredients such as creatine and caffeine.   3. Post workout – A post recovery workout shake should have the same ingredients as a preworkout. With the exception of caffeine and citrulline.   4. Post workout carb – This supplement, if you choose to buy it, is to be used during Phase 3 of the FAT CYCLING METHOD. My recommendation is a fast acting sugar called Dextrose. Dextrose gets into your blood stream quickly and is absorbed efficiently by your muscles. If you’re a health nut, which I become during the final weeks of my preps, I consume food more often than not, such as bagels with jam and russet potatoes or sweet potatoes (baked not fried) post workout. Fat Burners, Omegas, Micronutrients

  1. Fat Burner (dotFIT ThermAccel) – This fat burner contains ingredients essential for burning fat and building muscle. With ingredients such as L’carnitine, green tea, cayenne pepper… it ignites your body’s fat burning capabilities. I definitely recommend to be taken at all phases.

  3. You’d also need to eat an almost impossible variety of foods to get everything you need. A good multivitamin supplement has a blend of vitamins that contains all essential vitamins and minerals without including micronutrients that may interfere with the absorption of others.
  4. ZMA Supplementation (ZMAJym) I mentioned above that a good multivitamin doesn’t provide a blend that may prevent some micronutrients to be absorbed due to other macronutrients.
